Refining AAC Modeling: Considerations for Communication Partners

While "model, model, model" sounds simple, AAC modeling is actually complex. By offering communication partners more specific guidance, we could encourage more meaningful, high-quality learning experiences. This workshop will look back at foundational research in modeling and compare this to current practice. Participants will leave with practical strategies to incorporate into their daily practice. This is a cooperative course with AssistiveWare.
