Making the Shift: Prioritizing Communication in Stuttering Therapy
In this session, participants will explore how moving from a fluency-focused to a communication-centered approach in stuttering therapy enhances client outcomes. They will review contemporary frameworks, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and stutter-affirming therapy, and identify specific goals and activities to support clients in building confident, meaningful communication skills.
